All About Fall/ Intro to Sous Vide
In this class we will explore fall flavors and some new techniques that can be applied to future classes. In this class, you will have and introduction to the basics of Sous vide, which is a cooking method used for its ease, cleanliness, and precision. I will then be leading you through cooking what most people consider the most difficult of all poultry/water fowl proteins, duck. The rest of the courses feature prominent fall flavors that are crowd pleasers.
Note: You do not need the sous vide machine to participate in this class. If you already own one, you will learn how to use it to prepare Duck breasts to perfection!
• Fall Harvest Salad
Mixed greens, goat cheese, dried cranberries, spiced nuts, maple vinaigrette
Spanish White Blend
• Seared Duck Breast
Espresso brined duck breast, bacon roasted brussels sprouts, parsnip puree, blackberry sauce
• Apple Pie Pop Tart
Bourbon glaze, Vanilla sauce
Moscato dessert wine
This is an interactive cooking class preparing dinner for 2 with 3 wines.
All Ingredients will be provided right down to the salt and pepper. Maria will be cooking live so you can cook along side her.
