Müller-Thurgau (38%), Gewürztraminer (32%), Riesling (19%) and Pinot Gris (11%). Crafted to display the unique qualities of each variety, heady scents of orange blossom, ripe honeydew, guava and kiwi offer a vibrant introduction to this aromatic blend. The palate is sumptuous and round, bursting with stone fruit.
2016 Domaine Leon Boesch Sylvaner $16
Aromas of green apple skin, lime zest, malt, and cinnamon-tinged potpourri. On the palate, the wine fuses juicy pear and nectarine fruit with touches of smoky minerals, mint, and tarragon. Boesch’s Sylvaner is long, lingering, and full-bodied, unleashing a palate of stone fruit that stays dry, mineral, and elegant.
2015 Domaine Pichot Vouvray sec $18
Full, forward & attractive nose of ripe fruit aromas of limes, pears & melons with overtones of floral notes & minerals. The palate is ripe and rich with stone fruits. Look for a crisp finish with a slight hint of minerality.
2016 Eisacktaler Kellerei Kerner $17
Apricot and Peachy nose, rich and round with abundant stone fruit and a hint of elderflower. Very quaffable, medium dry. A crowd pleaser worth keeping in around during the holidays.
2015 Bodegas Jorge Ordonez Moscatel $17
Fresh, fragrant and mature, brimming with the aroma of Muscat grape, apple, mandarin orange and a pinch of wilted flowers. On the palate it is fruity and dry, with notes of citrus and a gentle finish.
2017 Legado Cabernet Franc $16
A deep red/purple color leads you to a nose of fully ripe cherry and cassis with a hint of spice. Dense/ripe red fruit flavors with that mid-palate Cabernet Franc texture give it great body with soft, sweet tannins.
2015 Bodegas Abananico Hazana, Rioja Tradition Vendimia $14
A blend of 85% Tempranillo and 15% Graciano. Loads of lead pencil shavings, black and red currants, licorice and tobacco leaf all jump from the glass of this dense, ruby/purple wine. Soft tannins, medium to full body and fabulous intensity, make for a sensational Rioja.
2014 Howling Moon Pinot Noir $15
A fairly juicy Pinot Noir, with low tannin. It expresses good balance with its acidity, but not overly chalky. Fresh cherry, red berries, strawberry, cedar, & toasted oak come through to balance out that fruit.
2014 Biftu Bobal $15
Bobal is the grape varietal here. This wine is luscious and full of nuances in florals, fine balsamic herbs, mature plums and mineral background. It starts softly in the mouth and it is expressed with good tannins embraced by a touch of stewed berries.
2016 Bila-haut Cotes du Roussillon $15
50% Grenache, 40% Syrah and 10% Carignan from a mix that offers a rich, concentrated and serious feel to go with fabulously pure notes of blackberries, black raspberries, crushed rock and melted licorice.
2015 Domaine de Rochebin Bourgogne Pinot Noir $20
The nose suggests bright, ripe raspberry and cherry fruit with a nice herbal, earthy and mineral quality. On the palate this wine is utterly delicious and bursting with fruit that gives way to balanced acidity and tannins.
2014 Chateau Nozieres Cahors Malbec $16
The wine is all about its ripe blackberry fruits. With a small proportion of Merlot (10%) in the blend to smooth the Malbec tannins it is rich, generous, and finely structured with a good future.
2015 Valravn Zinfandel $17
A very lifted aroma of simmering berry sauce emanates from the glass. In the mouth there is a cascade of blue and red fruits alike. It is framed in a mocha bean and chocolate ganache flavor creates a long silky finish.
2015 Rabble Merlot $21
This Merlot is a throwback, delivering full bodied, luscious dark bruised berries and cassis. The rich berries give a tremendous amount of density on the palate that continues and lingers with long and decadent tannins.
2015 Boucabeille les Terrasses Cote de Rhone $13
Nose is sour red cherry, spicy oak and rose petals. Well integrated tannins with red berry fruit, tart with sweet middle and gentle bitter finish.
2015 Jean Claude Boisset Marsannay $32
100% Chardonnay. On the nose complex aromas of orchard fruits, linden-tree, acacia and some brioche open up beautifully. Look for a supple and round wine, with a well-balanced acidity on the palate. Nice length makes this wine extremely enjoyable with turkey, gravy and an over the top stuffing!
2014 Chateau Thuillac “les Bordes” Cote du Borg $15
50% Merlot, 30 Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Cabernet Franc. This wine has a aromas of ripe red berries and baking spices. The palate offers well integrated tannins that makes this wine a great crown pleaser.
2015 Manoir du Carra Fleurie $18
Elegant red berry aromas and flavors, with a touch of herbal leafiness and subtle spice accompanying a charming, lifted freshness. Smooth and refined, already a pleasure.
